Spada boots.. opinions please.

I'm on the search for new boots as well as a new lid. I've found these which look to cover all bases, i.e. sensible for commuting but also look to offer good protection.

I do like my sidi's too. My last 2 pairs have been sidi and they've lasted week.

No direct experience of the boots you suggest Nutz, but I have these and they've been brillant.

Must be 8 years old and still look in great condition and do exactly what they say and never had wet feet.

I've no experience of Spada- only vaguely heard of them. But if Sidi are serving you well so far then I'd see no reason to switch. Sidi make a really good product.

I'm normally an 8, but I have wide feet so often have to go up a size. Assuming they're not massive on you they should be fine.

How much are you looking for?

I have the very same boots Nutz(Apart from a splash of colour).
Unfortunately I can't tell you what they're like to ride in, as I haven't used them yet.
They're not bad for sitting on the sofa, I can tell you that. And walking around the house isn't too shabby either.
From what I remember since I stuck them on at Christmas, anyway!

Agree with D here Nutz. If sidi serve you well why change. Pick up a new pair and let them serve you for years again. However I've had TCX boots before and they were Gore-Tex too, fanstskc they did exactly what I needed from them and they went through proper bad weather

The amount of miles you do now you will need to invest in your gear so it lasts yesrs. But just my opinion.

Also I have those Sidi Gore-Tex boots that you have shown but I've only used them once and that was last weekend to Lucy's tea room. They were stiff for the first time I've used them but i can tell they will break in. They were comfy and warm too..I can't comment on their waterproof capabilities get but if my old TCX Gore-Tex boots is anyyhing to go by these Sidis will be great
