Crap. She's going back. No one needs all that power, speed and handling wrapped up in a very sexy chassis. It should be illegal. There's just no need for it.

Looking good in the photos and sounds like doing good on the open road

Anymore than 65 bhp is unnecessary IMO

On a serious note I've ordered some black screen bolts but I'm not sure if the silver ones look good as they are.

Silver give a little contrast to what is already a very black bike.

IMO the silver lools slightly out of place however pictures can be diseiving (unsure how to spell it!) Black could work

I took the bike to the local dealer. He's updated the ECU which incudes updates to the maps and changes to the software for starting which means it's easier on the sprag when starting up.
He reckons the sprag will fail at some point. MV might send new parts but the bike is out of warranty so it's up to them if/when it does fail
He's ordered me an updated clutch basket which they'll fit at the next service. That's free. MV improved it and have agreed to replace them. The dealer reckons the bike will be quieter once it's fitted.
The ECU update has worked, the throttle is much smoother at low revs.
He did a run on the chassis number and confirmed there's no issues with the bike and it is a 2015 model

The MV dealer in Kingswinford?
Nice people in there.
Does the clutch noise intrude on your riding or just when starting?

Yep, that's the one.
Just when it's idling.

What are puppy grips

Thick foam grips you put over your standard ones. The bars on the MV are very narrow which causes hand issues after about an hour. The thicker grip makes it easier to ride.

Think they're like soft grip 'sleeves'.
