That's good Kwacky. Mine is 600 if any accident is my fault or 350 for fire and theft, but I do have 500 Excess contribution towards those so between 0 and 100 in reality.

Not sure I should join this conversation, it cost me over 400 to insure the vfr alone. I can't get a multi-bike policy as all underwriters want a brick built garage.

I've had 2 bikes in the past without a garage

I'm with BeMoto for the GT, I honestly can't remember if I have breakdown cover or not with them. I have AA cover through my bank account which cover's me in/on any vehicle with relay home.

On a positive note you could show the missus Cavs workshop thread and explained what a good idea it would be (happy)

Got mine down to £404 in the end to include breakdown cover for both bikes, ride any other motorcycle not owned by me, no additional excesses.

Why has it gone up Duke did they give a reason?. Your previous quote was 290.

Just read back, that should have been £390 in the original post.

Haha I thought it was very cheap at 290.

I 've been trying to get my quote close to it and now realise why I was struggling (giggle)

I forgot how it all adds up tbh. They quote each part separately. I would have to dig it out. £404 includes insurance cover for both bikes, breakdown cover for both, ride any bike cover, there is some life cover included and personal accident as most personal accident covers exclude riding bikes.

Bring old does have a very few advantages.
