I'd like to go to the IOM but during the Manx/Classic or for practice week. Plus the mountain is better as it's one way. I'll know what time i have later this year.

Tbh Cookie I've been to the classic and whilst it's a great event it's not great for riding. I would nt say dont go, but dont go and expect to get plenty of decent riding in as you most likely won't. The mountain might be one way but it's still closed regular for dickheads throwing themselves at the scenery.

My biking plans for this year are just hoping to be able to ride confidently again on both bikes. If My body is good enough to manage a weekend away with Jess on the back before years end it'll be a win in my books.

You will be there mate. A realistic goal and plenty of determination and Jess to help you it's going to happen.

Stay strong

Just to get out on it. I wasted so many good riding days last year not doing anything.

And at Christmas my daughter asked if we could go out on the bike when it was a bit warmer. I didn't bring it up, hadn't even mentioned the bike at all and she came out with that, which made me very happy.

So far after what can only be described as the sh!test biking year ever (and that includes the two years I didn't have bike) I'm planning an Anglesey track day in June. I was thinking ride down to my Mum's new place in Snowdonia on the Thursday, Friday in the Cambrian Mountains, Saturday Trackday and Sunday Snowdonia and then home. But after the year I've had, I'm now I'm thinking feck it, take the fecking week off.

So ill be leaving the bike in a state of sleep for a little while trying to save money, mileage and tyres!

I got planned IOM TT (Senior Race day and there until mid week hopefully to have the roads ourselves)

Scotland Trip up to as far north as Fort William/ Lochness then back down

Hoping for a track day

Hoping for a few Tankslap rideouts as well, maybe Wales and also Lucy's tea room as i havent been there for approx 2 years now!

Also want to actually turn up to a IAM meet/ ride out this year as i am never able to get to go to one now I work shift work or my misses is off etc!

I need to buy a new TomTom for the bike as i cant upload my routes for Scotland to my old one but still in perfect workong order which is annoying in my opinion as i feel lile im.wasting money!

I also need to buy a 1 piece waterproof suit- keep looking at the Aplinestar one whoch is pricy but looks good quality

Hoping to do the NC 500 this year, as well as Skye and Shetland.

If you’re coming as far as Fort William, try and make time to head to Mallaig and/or Applecross - truly stunning roads and scenery.

Thanks for the recommendation but I wish I could. I've arranged it all now and with time restraint with work we can't get that far in time now!

Don’t think the 853 will pass Oulton either. Do they do noisy days?

102db is the static limit I think Duke.

But I think Ducati are exempt from static noise test and just need to NOT trigger the gantry noise meter (Just roll off for the gantry ;) ) If they are fitted with OEM cans.

102. Jeez my old 600 (stock) wasn't even 102 - it was 105!

Ear plugs, Blade.... ear plugs ;)

The Racefit on mine is about the same and I couldn't tell the difference between the exhaust being fitted and straight headers (de-catted) (lol)
