How about when he get's it back he discovers that they've fitted a new fuel pump & speedometer whilst they had it.

Re: Bikers and bike security
great result mate, just be careful, I had exactly this, they told me no damage and asked if they could keep it for forensic investigations to which I said yes, I then got stung with a £200 bill for storage and when I went to pick it up the ignition had been cut and it wouldn't start so then had to pay to have it bought back or be faced with paying however many more days storage.Jack wrote:got a call today , police have recovered my bike from an address they raided in connection with "other matters" , I can't have it back yet as its an ongoing investigation but they are saying there appears to be no damage .
In theory you could claim these back o the insurance but as I ended up not claiming as my excess was silly high I never got them back. Really hope that's not the case for you mate
Remember: If in Doubt use Full Throttle, It may not make the situation any better, But it will end the suspense...

it cost me 150 for them to have it collected , I will not pay storage charges until it is released by them .

Jack I'm.clesrly very late here I'm sorry to hear you have been through this ordeal, thieves are the lowest of the low. However i am glad they actually have found it. Proper shame about the amount you have to pay think that is disgusting to be honest. But you have your bike back
