That is a thing of beauty. I would be too scared to ride it though.

Looks like a classic. I can't decide if that's in a good way or not.
Judging by the price, I'd say the seller has a good sense of humour.

68bhp and 125kg wet weight says it would be a laugh to ride.

Basically an 888 with one of the barrels unbolted. Bit of a half-hearted effort by Ducati

Imho yours was a far more beautiful version. The hints that their design team were heading in that direction are all there in the styling of this machine, but the 748/916 package (& era) was more fully honed & less prone to looking dated..

I think it’s a 999 with a cylinder missing. It’s a Terblanche design.

Wasn't it produced before the 916???

Has a look of a 900ss to me? But suspect StMarks is correct in a 888 with a pot blanked off.

Got confused because the Alistair Wager replica is based on the 999.

'Think I'd like it a lot more if the yellow bits were white TBH. The red & yellow combo makes it look like something Ronald McDonald would ride.
