You buy that and I’m leaving TS!

I’m all for steampunk/cafe style bikes but when it’s an improvement on the donor bike, that imho is taking a lovely bike and made it gawdy

Is the race rep a wrap? Can the decals be removed ?

I don't know.

An online search suggests that Ducati did a limited run of these but they were for the Thai market. So it could be an import, a paint job or a set of painted fairings.

To be honest, the more I look at it the less I like it. I think it detracts from the shape of the bike.

Reason I ask is I know a lot of the reps that Ducati Manchester do are just decal kits so easily removed.

Just mentioning as if apart from that it was a bike you liked, then could be still a option.

Would a rep. scheme on an older Ducati put you off buying one??

Probably yes. Don’t think it improves the looks.

Depends on the rep and if its a official replica.

I would love a Bayliss Imola Rep 8)

I like the look of that...BUT - it sort of looks like a streetbike with race decals on it rather than a racebike for the street.

The pewter base colour kills it for me, TBH. It's like a beige Ferrari.

Higher mileage, 3 month warranty, race rep and terrywogans

I'm not sure if I prefer the plain red or the race rep look.

12 month warranty gives peace of mind. On the other hand Ducati Coventry are close and you know they'll have looked after that bike.
The bike at JHP is painted. Not that keen on the paint job in the flesh, its a bit bland even though the actual paint job is a quality finish.

Cheers Duke

I have noticed a few more bikes coming on the market this weekend, so there's no rush.

Cheap for a clean Ducati main dealer bike.

If you find one in the price range, the 959 Panigale us a better bike than the 899. It has noticeably more power and a slipper clutch.
