The 675 is a possibility.

I'm really busy this month. Once I've got some free time I'll start going to dealers and getting rides sorted. There's no rush. If I see a real bargain I'll make the time.

Cubo Moto, Jem Speed and Jordan Bikes are all pretty close to each other. I reckon I've got time tomorrow to check out 2 or 3 of them inbetween appointments.

I've not been but I think Jemspeed has a decent cafe so might be worth scheduling that one at feeding time.

Hope you find something but enjoy the shopping what ever (lol)

I've done some window shopping.

No 899s about.
I don't like the 959
Lots of 1299 and 1199s, some good prices to.

The F3 RC 800 is stunning in the flesh.

Very helpful staff at Jordans. Jemspeed is more style over substance imo

Would you be interested in a 1199/1299 ?

They do look good in the flesh and you get a lot of bike for your money.

How far apart are the S versions from the basic model?

Fwiw Kwacky, the 899 and 959 isn't much different in speed to the ZX6R so don't get one of those thinking it's going to be particularly quick. I could keep up in a straight line with them at Silverstone.

The 1199 however, is the only bike I've seen in person that has looked **** fast!! Once anti-wheelie let the bike put the power down it took off like a rocket and he could pass any bike he wanted on track

Don't buy an 1199 or 1299 that is close to 15,000 miles unless you factor in the £1000 service into the price. I think the 899/959 is the same.

Ohlins suspension and steering damper and forged wheels.

The 1299s ohlins ssuspension is semi active where as the 1199s isn't but adjusts to preset damping rates electronically to suit riding modes.

Haven't ridden a 1199 but by all accounts the power delivery is not as good or as user friendly as the 1299 which has a smooth torque curve and better connection between rbw throttle and rear tyre.

Both good bikes and are very entertaining ride. You certainly know you've just been on a Superbike :P

Mine ensured a relationship with the dealer by regularly requiring their attention ('13 Multistrada) they called it "Character" hopefully the more recent ones are better, I know the DVT Multi has a much better reputation.

The last time I went to SMC Sheffield they had 3 daytona 675's in, one was the R but I kept going to the standard red one.

They have all 3 listed for the same price

A zx6r is faster than I'll ever be.

I'm aware of that. There's an 899 with 14,700 miles on it on auto trader

Also it is about the easiest part to change and someone will always want a 'Loud-n-proud can, would you really reject the bike for that?

I like the RC8 but I don't love them. They didn't excite me when I rode them.
