I'm going to go over the bike again at the weekend to make sure I haven't missed anything. I'll be pissed off if I've got a dud.
Good to hear Honda are dealing with the problem professionally and not just dismissing it.

I think it will be an isolated problem but ask the dealer to give the bike a good inspection as your concerned and worried you have a dud. You wont have a dud I'm sure, but no know harm in a second set of eyes checking it over.

I managed to get 24.18l into the tank this morning.

The petrol warning light came on on the way home last night. I rode all the way to work with the light flashing so I reckon I did about 48 miles on reserve.

I've been playing around with the settings so I reset the last trip, which means I have no idea how many miles the last tank did :D

I'm getting about 56 mpg when I commute, which means about 300 miles from a tank.

I noticed some condensation on the bike this morning when I went to take the Versys out.

I'll have to keep an eye on that. I have got an indoor cover for it but obviously it' not on at the moment. I have used some ACF50 on the key parts and a bit of ACF50 Grease. The condensation was on the bars and handguards. The garage isn't heated.

I stick a sheet over ours to draw the condensation away, then dry the sheet / wash it occasionally. Seems to work well if you do it as soon as you return with a warm bike (and avoid it being on the exhaust :D )

I've got a few old towels in there. I might try that.

Any good getting an electric greenhouse heater and putting it under the bikes? Not as cheap as a sheet or towels to run but they aren’t that expensive if you’re getting condensation.

Nice choice of machine - picked one up myself recently. Not been able to add any accessories as yet, spending a fortune on bike gear first has set this back a week or two....

I might get mine out tomorrow for work. It needs a run. It's not been used for a while

Cheers buddy - using mines a fair bit this week, still under 100 miles done - need to get those tyres scrubbed in.

Is yours manual or DCT? Mine is DCT which is still a bit weird, but I’m liking a lot.

I've gone for the manual but with a quick shifter. I wasn't sure about the dct on such a tall bike. I like feathering the clutch.

Yeah, I miss the clutch in slow traffic. Thankfully I can get both feet down so don’t look too much of a Pratt whilst I’m getting used to it....

Im using one of the sport modes just now, but think I prefer the full manual mode using the paddles for open roads.

I noticed at the London show, Honda were trying to encourage younger riders on to the Africa Twin (giggle)
