It looks like the EU wants to end the practice of changing the clocks by an hour in spring and autumn.

I hope we do the same.

How dare the EU suggest this - it's British Summer Time! We invented time anyway. :D

It's a good idea and should have been done years ago.

Lets hope it's not moaned about by the brexit crew....

I don't think it'll bother the UK, I can't see it coming in before we leave.

And like football and cricket, we're shit at it.

Well, cricket is a given....it takes days to play...WTF is up with that!?

No game should last longer than a movie. Probably.

Apart from the 1 day games and the limited over games you mean?

I mean from a spectator's perspective.

Or just my own perspective......it's hard to keep someone's attention for more than a couple of hours....three at most, don't you think?

Not at all. It's a good game to go and watch.

Too much standing around. Same with baseball & football.....at least with soccer the movement is fairly constant, with a short bathroom break in the middle.

I think there's bigger issues than this.

the Telegraph saying we should be MORE in line with Europe. Must be fake news. :D

To be honest i think its time the clocks moving stuff was junked for good.

Little no fact - Until the mid 1800s everywhere in the UK worked on their own clock, based on sunrise and sunset times. So the time in say Liverpool was different by 10 minutes or so to the time in say Newcastle. It was only the introduction of trains that ran across the UK meant it was simpler for the whole of the country to work to the same time.
