My XR certainly ran better on the premium fuel. Not treated the trumpet yet.

They run better on premium, there's no doubt in my mind.

168.9 today. Also achieved 48mpg on the tank, first time we've gotten over 44mpg to a full tank in a long time.

I expect prices to start going up again as the £ weakens against the $

Prices round here are nuts, I saw as low as 159 at a couple of garages and some still up in the 170's.

I did put a few quids worth of super in the speed.. not that it needs any extra encouragement.

I notice prices are on the increase again. We just got near 165 and now the cheapest seems to be heading back to 175.

Prices seem to be all over the place. There's a 10p difference between highest and lowest within a couple of miles from home

There's quite a difference between petrol and diesel as well round here. Diesel is back to nearly 1.90 in places

Yes I noticed that today. Nearly 30p per litre more for diesel than petrol.

Yeah it's going up all over this area too. Mid £1.90's is not uncommon for diesel.

I’ve been paying $2.40-$2.50 a litre of diesel, and living up my mountain my 4WD averages 11-12 L/100 km. So currently 100 km travel is costing me $28-30. With Jess on placement I’m doing that per day with two round trips dropping all the kids at school.

Problem is diesel is related to heating oil prices and they are sky high too.
