Defending your property

Probably divide opinion but I thought this was a refreshing read and a clear message to criminals that regular people can and will defend themselves.

I saw this on the BBC and thought you should see it:

Everything has to go through due process regardless of what has gone on. That's why its called a Justice system.

Not sure the media plastering his face across the internet is doing him any favours though.

Agreed. The media have a lot to answer for with mindless speculation and assumptions they make.

i would have thought they have probabl put his personal safety further at risk.

End of the day I think I'd be throwing out two phrases....'just cause', and 'reasonable force'. And if someone duly believes their life to be in imminent danger, then they pretty much have no choice but to respond in kind.
