I’m gonna ask why it’s taken so long to fit black levers.

Seems like it’s a bit hush hush as we are not allowed phones not to comment on what we see.

Footage will be released on Monday. Not allowed to comment on what we saw but was good to have a chat with Foggy and Gary Johnson. I could talk to these sort of guys for hours. They have been there and done it and have a wealth of stories to tell.

Duke the media star.

It was a bit "top gear" wasn't it? A few close ups around the bike would have been good.

Bike is up on the Triumph website now. No prices yet though.

148bhp is a bit disappointing, I was expecting closer to 160

A 15.5l tank isn't going to get you too far. I suspect that the quoted consumption of 5.2l per 100km is a on the optimistic side.

What do we reckon on price, £13k for the RS?

Agreed - they are trying hard with the marketing. Lovely bike, but i always think it looks heavy with the underslung exhausts and that frame - i know it's not, but it does look it.

Bit off putting with Duke in the background, but at least Mrs Duke balances his ugly mug out a little :D

Thats a small tank when you consider the street has a 17.4L. At least 13k for the RS - i reckon £14k +

I did warn them but they said it fits the bike's image. :D

have to say it did make me yearn for my old Speedie a little. Its still a cracking road bike, just more so now.

I asked about the low boy exhausts and it appears Triumph might no longer sell exhausts that are not road legal. D6 might know more than the guy i asked did.

No more low boy option. For various reasons, most notably the huge fine Harley received for selling a tuning device. Anything that tampers with emissions is now a hot topic (also due to VW) and so you need to be careful.

It also means that aftermarket exhausts have to work with the OE tune, other wise US also class this as an emissions alteration. And as you can imagine it would be hard for a single sided low boy to use the OE tune and work ok.
