To be honest, the accidents I had were all in the first 2 years (all but one in the 2nd year) and I'm glad I had them; they were all different and I learned something very important from each of them:
- Brand new tyres are slippy / don't bother with the life saver shoulder as looking infront is more important
- Don't follow learners too closely in snow/slush
- You are not Rossi and travelling the road once in the one direction does not mean you know the road in the other direction
- Riding tired is dangerous and you will end up smashing through a fence, landing in a pond then staggering 3 or 4 steps before collapsing due to a snapped tendon and hyperextended knee (with a nail penetrating between the kneecap and the knee joint)
I can't remember the other one/two but they weren't anything major
