I'm looking at a healtech for the ktm, but is going to have to wait a while.

From experience I would really recommend a fork service and setup. No parts, just a bit of oil and some time from someone who rely knows their stuff. Last time was with the RSV and Griff, it was a different bike when I rode off.

Obviously I'm getting names of the brands but which specific Quickshifter have you guys got

HM?
Translogic?
Healtech?

Nutz yes my set up will get up for my weight etc but there's a guy who turns up at IAM every month who does it and he does it for £15 so I may just wait until he's there again!

Translogic is4 is what I had Rossgo.

£70 is not bad, but it's also something you can easily do yourself with a little knowledge as it's only setup

Pocket the 70 and put toward the QS

Another one for the list is Cordona, thats what Woolich Racing sell as part of their race tools pack which I have on the MT-10... Not being a pro rider I cant fault it as long as you use it as intended. Just bimbling around? Use the clutch.

On the MT forum theres a discussion about this and HM seems to be the best because it's the brand top level racers prefer... I don't know if they get the same kit as the general public though.

I'd lile to know which specific ones people are getting. Not saying that the basic one will.be crap as my level of riding I'm sure I couldn't fault it but I do like recommendations and lile personal experiences

That a good price - rocket that's the Healtech you have got then? You find it good for road use at 30 and 40 to running around Almeria track?

There is (or used to be) a tankslap discount with BDS

Just my personal opinion Rossgo but I wouldnt use a QS at 30 and 40 in traffic.

Great kit for the road but more for caning it full throttle and flying up the box feeding it gears whilst holding her wide open .

Others will be different but that s the only time I use my QS.

Blade yea I agree mate, I wouldn't be using it in traffic either at very low revs but it's a sign of it doing it's job well if you feel it could handle it!! Generally speaking I do fast roads however can be bumpy, I would be using it mid range going up to general fast road speeds!

The Suzuki QS I used on that GSXR was fantastic and it was seamless...i genuinely need this in my life and if I could afford it id have the auto blipper too

Yes
i dont use it at 30 - 40 even on the road its a good quick shifter adjustable easy to setup.

If a gear box is clunky its clunky a quick shifter is not going to make it a shit gear box smooth. My gsxr has a silky gear box and shifting is great the 675 is not bad but you have to put it home the zx10 was the same you have to be Positive with shifts but this is not the shifter its the gear box
