Went out yesterday for a short run over the tops. about 30-40 miles

I'm still bedding in the tyres and im trying to find my way with and the bike. The stability at speed is good really good. Getting the bike cranked over however feels a little odd and im sure if its me or the new setup. I need to get the sag / preload set up on the bike as i think its off.

Not too good to read the turn in is not so sharp.

I would rather trade stability for quick steering.

Need to try mine yet.

Just been to my mates tyre place and had the new rubber fitted

Now to find some time to actually ride the bike and test them.

I don't know what the weather forecast is like for your neck of the woods but it looks like showers for Brum this weekend.

Not ideal for scrubbing in in tyres you've not used before.

Similar forecast tbh.

Still I'm desperate to get a ride so will try and squeeze something in. Cleaners here at the moment but soon as she has gone I will try a blast.

Apparently there pre scrubbed in. Not 100% sure on that but there not the usual smooth shiny surface and have an abrasive feel so in theory at least they are pre scrubbed.

There said to be brilliant in the wet so the odd shower might be useful to test both dry and wet performance.

The tyres get blown out of the mould so there shouldn't be any crap on them to worry about. But if you're like me for the first couple of rides it's still at the back of your mind that they're new tyres.

Just got out for a much needed ride.

Only 40 miles so far as stopped for cake . Initial impressions are very good. Turn in is not as quick as previous Rosso Corsa but not a million miles away and seems more controlled and progressive for it.

The carcass is nice and soft and doesn't mind tracking over ruts, cats eyes and overbanding which is good as the super stuff Dunlops always feel skittish imo.

Not asked anything of the grip yet so will reserve judgement but the pre scrubbed in claim seems to work as your confident from the off.

Initial impressions are a great road tyre will keep the post updated as mileage and progress continues.

Simply the best road tyre I've ridden on. Before today I had only ridden 180 miles since October last year but within 50 miles today I felt like I had been riding all summer the confidence was so high almost immediately. Traction control and abs were getting a good work out and if anything the only negative is these tyres encourage you to ride too much like a complete loon.

Didn't realise how skittish and nervous the previous Rosso Corsa were. The Pirelli have plenty of grip but don't promote stability or confidence like the Conti's.

Review will be brief as you can sum them up very easily. Amazing stable, inspire confidence and do everything you ask of them drama free and just promote confidence.

Can't believe I was riding the same bike I have been riding for over 2 years. Completely transformed and felt like a different bike, a much better one

Sounds promising.

I do think that the Corsas have a narrow prime window to operate in. They sing when the road is warm and dry but they've spun up on me a few times when conditions aren't perfect.

Totally agree Kwacky. You have summed the Corsa up very well. Brilliant but only in the right circumstances and they do spin up easily.

Even managed to spin up the rear on Cookies new 765 on Thursday in the damp. That has Rosso Corsas too.

I agree - great on a warm day or a track, but i'm not sure i'd want them as a tyre in all conditions.

I finally got in a bit of a ride on the new tyres today.
This is what I started they a few miles on them in pretty dam or wet conditions.


A tank of fuel and 98.6 miles later on some of Derbyshire's finest road's.The bike is super stable and gives loads of feel back. The tyres are giving loads of grip and the more miles I have on them the more confident I am getting on them. The turn in is very nice and progressive.
Entering the corner there feels like there is loads of grip and on one occasion running a bit hot I was trial braking nothing heavy but the tyres did not break a sweat.
Mid point in corners they feel stable they do take a bit of force to get them fully on there side. I also think I'm not going that fast into corners as I'm still building my confidence up which will help get the bike over. Corner exit I've given them some stick and at no point did the tyres give any signs of spinning up.
They also heat up really quickly and were surprisingly hot when ever I stopped today.
Really enjoyed today even though the roads were busy with well idiots including a bloke on a blue gsxr.
How they looked after the ride.

How did these fair in Europe Rocket? My almost new M7s squared off after 1300 miles in Scotland, so I'm hoping you're going to tell me these didn't and these will be my next set.

You seem to be loving these as much as I loved Dunlop Sportsmarts!!

Unstickable at 'license-losing' speeds. The only time I got them unstuck was when they were near slick and I had a two wheel slide going into a corner - if I was sensible I'd have changed them 500 miles previously but I wanted to get 5000 miles out of the rear

1300 miles and they were squared off...dam that's ugle!! Mines going on and on!
