Bad news - bike is going to be a week later

The dealer does at least have dates now. The bike arrives in France on 25th July, so should be with the dealer a little while after that and I can have it the first week of August.

I at least have a timetable now, which is saying something.

Hope it doesn't make you too impatient for yours, I would ask for time on the demo bike to scratch the itch.

Cookie. The package I received is two sliders and four bolts, two of which have sizeable spacers.

I like the fast bikes one better but he was still yeah this model comes with errr..... two wheels ......

How do they get jobs writing about motor bikes when they dont seem to have much enthusiasm for what there riding

It would be about run in then.

He could at least stick a free arrow can and heated grips on it as i'm advertising his employer.

It would take you another two weeks to get all the mud off though

Ride magazine say that the R is the better bike than the RS. It's got more power under 10,000 revs and the delivery is better.

Yep. It's also got a pull out which is a guide to the best roads in France. If I remember I'll bring them with me.
