I love a QS but barely used the blipper on the MT-10. I just prefer to do it myself.

Must confess I find the blipper more useful on the road as it doesn’t upset the bike in anyway when changing down going into a corner.

Both cool bits of kit though and getting more MotoGP like every year.

I don't slow down as much as you clearly ;)

Haha (giggle) I just go down the gears on corner entry to stabilise the bike and in readiness for better acceleration on corner exit (happy)

The first Quickshifters I tried were a bit rough but the improvement in the last couple of years has been massive.

I am reluctant to fit them to bikes where you cannot buy a factory option though as I am not sure they are great for the gearbox. That said I have looked at them for the 853 since I gave two engines. I believe Translogic are considered the best option.

I have Ducati and Triumph OEM factory QS fitted and both a good Duke, but not in the same ball park as the aftermarket Translogic Intelshift I put on the ZX10R Duke.

You wont regret purchading a Translogic QS imo but you do get want you pay for, so go for a decent spec one would be my advice.

Another vote for Translogic here. Expensive but amazing to use

QS fitted and an hour out to test it. Very well integrated into the Street i have to say.

I have had a QS before and this one is very smooth, i've tried it in a few of the riding modes too and it's smooth all the time on light throttle and pinned open too. It wont work below 2500 rpm or when using the clutch, but even from 1st to 2nd is smooth.

Well done triumph - the gearbox is brilliant on this bike and the QS just works.

I just have to reprogram myself a little more to not use the clutch so much :)

It would be so incredibly useful... plus I had my first taste of quickshifter magic on the BMW (which I will write a mini-review on soon)

I think only a few bikes have the option of an aftermarket blipper and they are expensive.

I know the R1 and R6 can have them retro fitted but not sure of other bikes, but saying that I'm probably not up to date with the latest info.

It's a wish list item to be honest..

Suspension is a necessity IMO. My ability is being limited by the bike thus my safety margin is pretty tiny. Better suspension allows me to improve but also be safer.

Plus a bit of man maths and that's the reason I'm going with for getting it anyway haha

Blip box is the only aftermarket blipper system I am aware of and they only make them for about 6 bikes.
