I'll get one for the Street. It's a cheap mod
Much cheaper than a new radiator.

No. I've been away so I've not had chance to do all the paperwork. I'll get it sorted next week.

Washed and waxed it. I noticed a couple of slightly stiff links in the chain. I thought I was on top of chain maintenance but clearly not. I've given the chain a really good scrub then gone to town on the lube. I got a towel and used that under the chain to make sure the bike didn't get covered with lube. Winter is coming so I'll make sure the chain is good enough to see me through, but I'll keep an eye on it.

I've ordered a quick release fuel cap. The standard cap faces the wrong way IMO. The flap for the key faces towards the bike which means water can collect under it. The cap opens up at the seat end so when it's open, with the bike on the side stand the left bar is close to the fuel cap, so it makes it slightly difficult to get the fuel nozzle in.

The new horn hasn't got a bleed hole so water collects in it so I've had to turn it round to face towards the floor, which is a bit crap. I'll need to take it off and drill a hole in the casing so I can have it facing forwards.

I think I've killed off my chain. I gave it a rally good scrub and lube last weekend but it's still got a couple of stiff links.

I didn't really want to get a new chain this side of Christmas but it's better than having a chain breaking and whipping about the bike and my foot.

Could you tie a load of elastic bands together just to get you through the next few months?

Couple of sets of pliers and free them off? I’ve done that in the past and sometimes gotten away with replacing a chain prematurely.

I could give that a go.

A couple of stiff links won't damage much so long as the chain tension is correct for the stiffest part of the chain.

Surprised cleaning, lubing and riding again didn't sort it though as I've had that happen a lot on the Ninja's 2 year old chain and it always frees up

Try some gear oil on it or the Scotts chain oil. Let it soak in over a weekend on a warm chain.

Clicked over the 10,000 mile mark today.

Not bad for a bike I bought in May.

No issues and she's survived a battering. Would recommend.

10k since May (shocked) ...You live too far from work (facepalm)

I don't think I'll manage 8k over 3 vehicles .... Maybe I need to move further away from work or get out more :D
