Well worth the extra cash. They are not exactly expensive anyway ( not Rizoma money) but they work far far better than the Chinese ones i tried first.

Not the best photo as taken into the sun but i have also removed the original mirrors too.

Anyone know anyone who can do 3D printing? I need some mirror block off plates but no one makes them for the 916 range anymore.

The image on this mirror is the same size as the original mirrors. The Chinese mirrors were making the image so small that i couldn't see anything worthwhile. I have a mirror on one end and matching bar end on the other.

These are the ones i got in the 75mm diameter. The handlebar plug is a much better design too and i can remove the mirror without removing the bar end, for trackdays.

I like my Oberons.

Mine are a wee bit smaller, but they're clear enough to see everything I need to and you soon get used to them.

My chines ones work ok but they are a bit awkward to use, a lot waggling elbows about to see. The oberon one looks a lot more user friendly.

The mirror can be fixed to the middle of the bar end or to the very end and obviously at any angle you wish.

Think i may have sorted the issue of mirror block off plates too. Pro-Bolt make some decent push in buttons to cover two of the three empty holes for the mirror holes and i can fit a decent bolt to the other hole that fixes the fairing stays to the fairing top.

I think those bolt blanks look about as good an alternative as you're likely to get....they'll look like they're 'supposed' to be there.

The flat bits used to bug me though, the Pro-Bolt ones don't seem to have that so maybe a better option. Quality is ok though. Better than their tail tidy at least.
