I've done a form and filled in all the information the insurers ask at renewal time. I'll email that to Bikesure and Bemoto and see what response I get, then I'll see if Carole Nash can meet it. That said, the bastards charged me £40 this morning just to make an amendment to my policy.

Time to move house (facepalm)

Only joking. How did you get on with getting a tracker and did Bemoto discount for such ?

I spoke with a couple of insurance companies and it turns out that you only get so much discount for security, usually no more than 15%. As I've got alarm, locks, immobilisers etc I wouldn't get any more discount for a tracker.

Makes sense I've been told that before.

You can only go so far mate. Have you got any further with your gate ???

No, the second guy who was due to come round got an overseas contract for 8 weeks so he's not about.

I might just get a drop down bollard, at least it'll be quicker and easier to fit.

Cornhill Insurance have been recommended on the SX site so I'm trying them.

I've asked Carole Nash for an updated quote as well seeing as the last one was just for the SX.

Good idea. I can recommend these people who did mine and are the same ones used at the Ferrari dealers so obviously a good endorsement.

Sold secure and been faultless in operation. I went for the retractable stainless steel as paint will mark and then corrode and look untidy quickly.

Well I'm not being lazy this year with Home and Contents, I pay $290 a month and the renewal just came and they have put it up to $335! Thats a $540 increase for the year! Robbing barstards! I already pay a higher than normal premium due to being in a bush fire prone area.

Carole Nash want £200 more this year than last because I've got 2 bikes. Er, i had two bikes last year and only 4 years NCB.

Looks like I'm spending the weekend calling brokers.

The power of social media. I had a rant on twitter about them. One of the team leaders called me. We've got my £40 broker fee from the last change fee refunded and got the policy reduced to a price close to last years with extras.
