I see Capaldi is to leave the show.

I've not watched it since the Tom Baker days but my kids love it. I didn't realise it was still so popular.

He's a good actor but wrong for Doctor Who - i didn't watch much of his stint as the doctor.

It was good when they resurrected it, but the last few series have been pretty awful.

I've watched a lot of Doctor who over the years, loved/terrified of it as a kid. Kids today seem to love it. I still remember hiding behind the couch lol. I thought Peter Capaldi was actually a pretty good doctor let down by some awful story lines and writing.

I liked Capaldi as the Doctor , Sean Pertwee should give it a crack .

It's always about aliens invading Basildon, or some other equally unlikely place.

Bonus points for the worst, most fuct-up looking spaceship/time machine EVER!!

I actually quite liked him. Not at first I thought he was too old but he grew on me. I do enjoy Dr Who and I missed not having a series last year. I wonder who will take his slot next year then
