Star Wars - Episode VIII - The Last Jedi

Post by Kwacky »

They've announced the title - The Last Jedi.

Interestingly the article refers to the star wars films as the "Skywalker Saga" so I presume Luke is heading towards the great force cloud in the sky.

Beat me to it!!

Luke won't die....it'll end up being an ambiguous title like ROTJ.

I reckon he'll have spent his time getting in touch with dead Jedi, like his father, Obi and Yoda. He's been on his own for a considerable period of time and we know that a few of the named Jedi were exploring the after life. Both Obi (you may strike me down Darth) and Yoda made references to it. Rey hears the voices of Jedi past when she finds Luke's lightsabre.

You guys understand this way more than I do.. I pretty much take the film at face value.

I've seen all the Harry Potter films so many times now and still pick stuff up that I never noticed before :D

We grew up with Star Wars...that stuff stays with you....just like Harry Pothead does for you.

PS....disrespect SW again and you'll get Force-choked..../

Well Carrie Fisher is in it as she had already filmed her stuff, so it will be an interesting film indeed.

I enjoyed the last one, so looking forward to this one too.

Maybe Rey will hear Carrie's voice too?

Although Leia is a Skywalker and should be as useful as Luke with the force, she never really used it.

No doubt. If she had of been smart, she'd have used The Force to give herself a boob job and maybe get a bit of a suntan.
