Sure, I get the odd look and comment from the lads who think I should be drinking something manlier, but the lads that do drink with me have got used to the fact that I'm not bothered by it. A lifetime of not liking lagers or ales has prepared me for it!

And it tastes really nice.

A local pale ale on a hand pump, very good - unlike the food.

Also had a bottle of plum cider last night, that was delicious

2 bottles of wine seemed a good idea last night.

Strangely it doesn't this morning.

Never expected a gin that high in alcohol content to taste any good, but this is delicious!

G&T - Monkey 47 & Fever Tree as an Aperitif, then a Merlot blend with dinner. Feeling pleasantly mellow ATM.

Cider, at 2pm, because school holidays are killing me and I just spent the morning clothes shopping with the kids to get winter stuff.

Gordon's and tonic, there's nothing like a sharpener before dinner.
