I hate the British Press, any other top team plays badly but still wins over one of their biggest rivals its the 'mark of champions' to play badly but still get the win. Spurs do it and we are fatigued, Poch has a crisis as the squad wont last till the end of the season, falling away mid season etc....

We played a very good Chelsea team, and yeah we wre VERY lucky to win, and yes we probably are fatigued, over the Christmas period we had a match every 2 days, the most congested of any premier league side (joint with Everton) Chelsea averaged a day extra rest between games, City and Liverpool 2 days extra between games. but we still won! maybe give us credit for that instead of focusing on how were apparently going to fail. and if Chelsea cant even beat a fatigued Spurs surely that says more about them than us!

pfft rant over

Good result today at WBA. A game we didn’t want to lose. Played some decent football too.

A dire game for us. Really dull. Boro buy fouls and time waste. Ref booked our player for diving in what was a stone cold penalty. He missed 2 hand balls as well.

I hate Pulis. The man gives football a bad name but i have a nasty feeling Boro might get promoted.

We were crap. No movement off the ball. We looked very flat footed.

Norwich are a threat going forward.

We play some really good football, always moving the ball. And I like the fact we have so many youngsters in the team.

I was keeping my head down in this thread after a truly poor week last week but I have a question.

How many of you follow a second team?

What I mean by that is you support a team, that's clear and obvious, but do you have a team you keep an eye on their results, may go to time to time as its maybe more local, cheaper etc? who is it and why? just intrigued really

Not really. When I was a kid I used to keep an eye on Chelsea. I can't remember why.

I've been to Walsall and Coventry to watch football occasionally.

I used to hope Newcastle would win......and pray Sunderland would lose - but I'm guessing that's not exactly what you had in mind.

I'd keep an eye on Middlesbrough.

yeah was thinking more in terms of teams you dont so much support, but maybe follow, be it different leagues, abroad etc, just thinking like the amount of people you see walking around in Real Madrid tops etc

No second team.

But used to follow QPR circa 1975 when they changed the way football was being played in this Country. Very much taken from the Dutch national team of that era. Total football.

In that case......then I'd go with supporting the team where you're from, and the team where you are.

Happy days.

we scraped past Newcastle, that may sound like im moaning but im not, im happy with the team at the mo, missing key players, not had a full week off since before Christmas, no signings since Jan 18, yet still getting results in the league, highest points tally ever in a season so far. I'll take that and any Spurs fan that says otherwise is an idiot and clearly forgotten all the years of midtable obscurity.

10 games with out a loss and 2 points of a 4th place spot.

Amazing what a change of command can do for results (y)
