Bike Cams.

I always keep a look out for bike cams. Was going to get a drift HD, but they have stopped doing it and now only do the much dearer ghost version.

Anyway, still looking I'd noticed the Muvi HD so been keeping an eye on that. There's a "No proof no glory" NPNG version for around £199. Slowly people have been doing offers and can now pick it up for £169 like at here
http://www.actioncameras.co.uk/veho-muvi-1080p-hd-npng" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I don't look on Amazon often but thought I would, and then found this

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B008 ... escription" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

£99. As I don't know about Amazon, does this look genuine? It seems a popular seller, is done via Amazon and says new in the listing. Even though I shouldn't I am very tempted.

No idea but it's been reviewed and the reviews look good. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/8 ... ecial.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I might be tempted myself at that price.

Deal seems fine to me and if its backed by Amazon you will be OK.

Not sure on your budget but have you looked at the new Garmin Virb? Its all the latest tech.

Can't beat a contour roam2.. Bang for buck and solid. Especially as contour gone tits up you can get these now for about 100 to 130 if you shop around instead of the 170 quid rrp

Know what you mean mate I thought so too and consider the gopro.. But any screen drains the batts dead quick. And size of screen is quite pointless.. Just load up the SD card and if your that concerned about seeing stuff just put the SD card in your phone permitting and watch in HD on that.. Job done.

D6 if you use YouTube and watch any of the baron von grumble vids by using one of his discount codes I believe it's a further 10% off via the action camera site lol

With wifi, you can use your phone as the screen. Works great for checking the angles quickly.

Well I had a muvi npng edition bought me as one of my wedding presents. Been testing it here in Austria, whilst cycling. Seems good so far, but only played back on the built in screen. Cant wait to try it on the bike.

I've ordered a Veho VCC-005 HDNPNGMuvi for the bike. £100 on amazon which seems decent enough for the price. I also bought the short based mounts for it so I can stick it on the bike. I'll have a play around with it when it arrives.

Thats the same I have. You get loads of mounts, but ive not had time to try them yet. Id like to get a handle bar mount and a chest mount (for the mountain bike) too
