Quickshifter which will run into the zeeltronic ecu. Wanted a strain gauge as there more reliable and I can swap race and road pattern shifts.

Sounds like a nice bit of kit.

Having some of the parts blasted has caused problems. They had some form of protective layer on originally which has now been removed. Parts that are Steel and have not been lacquered or powder coated have started to show early signs of rust. So i have been toying with the idea of plating. However after speaking to my engineer friend i asked him if he could make them out of stainless. I got the bits back today and I'm VERY happy. The swing arm Adjuster is also threaded inside. He also made all the nuts and washers.

I had a Cordona qs on my old 675, nice bit of kit. You can set the weight required to activate the shifter and the kill times individually to get it sweet. Have you got your engineer friends next order for bits ready? :D

I'm loving the attention to detail and the work arounds as you come across problems. Having someone like that to help create items is a godsend

Yeah i still have the weight function on the Cordona and then with the zeeltech i can alter the kill time the zeeltech also has intelligent shifting which means that it alters the kill time according to revs

I actually took him the next job as i left with these bits :-S Its a good job hes cheap lol

He also loves bikes working on them messing with them so he enjoys doing bits for them

What, (shocked) not Titanium.????????????

Seriously though Rocket, this thread is a real showpiece to your skills & application IMHO. A cracking job, & it's going to end up an even better example of the RS250 than mine.. (y)

Exactly what St Marks says. Some serious effort, hard work, dedication and skill has gone into this project. You should be rightly proud of your achievements (allhail)

You've got to be pretty happy with how that's shaping up, just spent 5 mins zoomed in looking at it all. Very impressive mate, top work.

Today's job. I wanted to mount some panels to the clocks so i could have all my switches laid out and have an easy access point to get to the ecu plug . So ive made these 2 panels out of a sheet of carbon and spent the day shaping and mounting them. Then i have installed all the switches etc. Now I'm going to wire it all up.
