Sounds like the polar opposite in fact!

24 yr olds in bikinis? sounds like the universe is rewarding you for your immensely charity and tolerance to the sloth last month.

Will they work??

UK & AUS have different region codes for DVDs. They're not normally compatible with one another.
Don't shoot the messenger. Thanks in advance.

I bought a little device from eBay for $20, pointed it at the Blue Ray player and pushed a button, then restarted it. Voila! Now region free.

For DVDs only, Blue Rays are still region locked.

Just looked it up as we’ve got a Sony Blu Ray, it won’t do the latest models like our UBP X700, b@ll@cks!

Someone else told me that a while back and I didn't really believe them. You I believe....that's the sort of esteem I hold you in.

(lol)

More like two completely independent people tell you something exactly the same, it gives it credibility. To be honest I was sceptical, but for $20 it was worth a punt. Previously I’ve always found a software code to unlock them. It’s all just software blocks, so someone always finds a way around it.

Do Aussie DVDs come with a subtitles option for people in North America & the UK, so we can follow the dialogue?? It'd be great to watch Mel Gibson and understand what he's on about for once.
