Still hanging about not doing a lot. 1 guy is clearly wasting g time organising all the bolts in the correct holder in his tool box, another guy is jabbing at the rear looking in ore of the F1 car, 1 geezer is laying on the front sleeping and 2 are chilling chatting away probably talking g about flappy bird being banned haha!! Looks like in '76 they were more social probably making arrangements for their night out down the boozer??

I honestly prefer the 70's to current day.

World or a few people in charge of it have gone mad in recent decades.

I would happily trade everything I have in modern life to go back to a simpler, less stressful and less regulated way of life.

Yeah, but would you go back to looking for porn in hedgerows?

There would be more than booze involved if James Hunt was at the party.

Some of the stories about him are unbelieveable. How he used to drive a car like that is beyond me.

Fwiw mate, my (much traveled) little brother tells me that New Zealand bears a striking resemblance to the UK, but 50 years ago.

To be honest many would Blade.

One of the reasons I now live a simpler, less stressful life. Notice I didn't say less regulated as I'm in France, where they like their regulation, but you do get left alone :)

It is possible, you just need a plan. Plan for when the kids are older or at uni. That's what we did.

I'm a child of the 70s but I can't work out if it was better as I was a child, so it was simpler anyway!

I think I'm going to jump ship when I hit about 60. I walked the dog last night. We have some very nice open space nearby with a river. Sunday's weather meant loads of people came out to enjoy this small snippet of open space and greenery in Birmingham

and leave all their rubbish behind

fly tipping seems to be commonplace

no one seems to have any pride in themselves, what they've got or what they do, say or look like.

I must be getting old.

I really fancy Germany but I've yet to convince Mrs Kwacky

I've never been to Germany. I intend to remedy that over the next few years. I'm always open to places to live. Keeps life interesting. Your a long time dead :(
