Mixed news but not overly depressing. Make sure you build up your mobility slowly. I know you like to go full throttle at things!

Full throttle is slowly unfortunately.. I can't do a whole lot. Just trying to walk while using the crutches more often and with more load.

Not much more I can do than that. When I go to Physio... that'll be when I end up working into the pain a little more and I am not looking forward to that.

Like you say, some good some bad and overall it isn't great but I should be 95% as good as before after surgery.

I can attest to the benefits of putting in the hard yards prior to surgery Cav. My surgery recovery was definitely easier because of it.

All the best with it and hope you are mobile enough it doesn’t impact on your special day too much

Lucky you, in a way. Me and the boy have been sneezing away for about a month already with no real sign of it letting up.

Man flu. Have avoided getting sick for the last two months while everyone around me was sick and spluttering, but seems they wore my defences down. Now I don’t know what aches are from my neck issue and what are from the lurgy, so I’m just going to veg on the couch in front of the fire today.

A bit fecking lump on my leg. Schoolboy error as I was strimming, hit a metal fence and ended up with a piece sticking out my leg.

Blown up like a balloon! These things don't bother me but Mrs C looks a bit queezy :D

Hurts though. Bag of frozen peas on it at the mo ;(

Sorry to hear your bad news Jack, but I’m sure you’ll be back firing on all cylinders in a week or two. (y)

Mate of mine went through something not dissimilar Jack, he’s 10yrs in and just come back from his hols Italy, even got married again!

Fwiw I’m also on drugs forever, it’s a nuisance but not intrusive, but make sure you get the NHS exemption card so you’re not paying for them though.
