Fighting the dreaded black cloud of depression this week, no idea why, no rhyme or reason, it just happens and I hate it
All I want to do is shut myself off from the world curl up into a ball and disappear

The muscles in my lower back are getting less painful and got a lovely yellow and purple shiner on my right shoulder/collarbone from the rim of my helmet, and a less pronounced one across my forehead.
Other than that I have taken the dressing off my leg, I can tell which stitch was done by which person, the consultant used me as a training aid for 2 student nurses. One of them told me it was only her 2nd stitch on an actual patient, it's the neatest one!

He did ask permission to let them stitch my leg and I said "No problem, everyone has to learn"

Surprise, I'm coming down with a cold

I've got a crappy cold. I reckon I picked it up when I visited the doctors on Wednesday. Sitting in a packed waiting room for 40 minutes isn't the best place to be

My son has got a boxing match tomorrow so I'm isolating.

There's a lot going round.

I don't have a high temp. It's just a sore throat, sneezing and a runny nose so I reckon it's a cold.

I hope you're both feeling better soon

I'm at the delightful snotty nose and chesty cough stage.

Cheers mate, same to you.

We're both feeling better, both snotty and not sleeping well. Lou is coughing up a lot of phlegm and I've had a near permanent headache for 4 days, will be glad when that goes.

Sore throats and temperatures have gone, but the body aches are still there..

I'm a bit sore.. I did an oopsie when mountain biking yesterday. I'm not certain what happened but my best guess is, I went into a berm too low which meant I exited too high, lost the front over the top and then took a tumble.

1 roll and I came to an abrupt stop with my foot wedged between the frame and the wheel, smashed the same foot into a rock, hit a rib under my should blade against a rock and have various scrapes up my side, arm and hip. My knee pads did their job though! Only minor bruising. Apparently it was a very noisy crash haha..

Bruised ribs are no laughing matter... it really bloody hurts when you laugh that's for sure!

That's the result of my small spill on the weekend

Bruised ribs are no laughing matter, literally! I cracked a rib once, you can't laugh, burp, sneeze or fart without absolute agony!

4 th day home and I’m bed bound. Started to go down hill yesterday and woke this morning with no voice, struggling to breathe, chest and sinuses loaded.

My resident nurse refuses to let me get up so I’m catching up on the 3 rounds of MotoGP I missed while at work.

I expect before you got back, you would have been quite pleased at the prospect of spending a bit of extra time in bed at the auspices of your girl ..

Get well soon Kiwi, & next time you go down with the lurgy make sure you do it off-shore

I must've tweaked the right side of my body...I just rolled off a low kerb on my MTB the other day...nothing major at all, but I remember thinking 'That didn't feel right?' and my right half from the neck down has bugging the heck out of me ever since.
Boo-hoo.

Well I actually need to be well again for this Saturday, since I’m getting married and all 😂

Plus my sister, niece and nephew turn up from the US today at lunch time, and I still feel like garbage
