Sorry, didn't see this..I just randomly search until I find a video with the content that suits me for that day and a presenter that doesn't annoy the tits off me.

Today's plan was to ride down to my parents (12 miles) and then take the longer scenic route back home.

Didn't quite go to plan, think that's tyres destined for the bin.Image

I took the boy for a lap of the Verderers 10km XC trail yesterday, firstly he loved it, and secondly, I was pleased with my time.

My PR is 35mins and we did it in 43mins yesterday! Not bad for more than 2 stone additional weight on the bike!!!

Shoulders today. I've been watching what I eat. I've lost 3kg in 5 weeks. I know it's not much but it's going in the right direction.

Happy today.

Went on a 6 mile trail run with a few decent hills, managed to run more of the hills than I expected. Plus I wore my running pack, which I haven't worn for a while, and had to tighten it up by at least an inch across the belly and chest straps.

11 miles on my MTB......road-riding, park trails, etc.
Two flat tyres, one broken chain, and a bee sting....ouch!
Did I mention it's 92 degrees today??
I am sooooo glad to be home.

You can tell when it's cutting season at the gym, because all the blokes start using those step machines.

It must have been bike night at the gym. There were 3 bikes outside. I spent most of my time chatting (lol)

Another fantastic day on the mountain bike yesterday, approximately 3000m of vertical descending (y)

It's hard work for sure and probably very good press up training

Apart from a week's holiday and a week sick, I've been hitting the gym pretty hard over the last month or so. Combining that with a upping my step count and a few other lifestyle changes, I'm starting to see results.

Nothing adds to motivation than numbers dropping ImageImage

3000 metres?? Is there an extra zero in there that shouldn’t be?

Back home so have been able to get back into bush walks rather than endless circles on the helideck

I mix it up over a handful of tracks we have close by, but here’s a typical effort I do each morning after I’ve got every one out of the house

No extra zero.. it's possibly a bit conservative too. It's around 350-450m of descending each run and I did at least 8 runs in 5.5hrs. It ain't easy!
