Temporary Traffic Lights.

They've been doing mains gas work along the stretch of the road at the top of our estate for a couple of months now and the 3-way temporary lights are SH!T !!! Not only do they not allow enough time for traffic to exit from the setup before the next lights turn green, people also jump red lights making the whole thing worse.

Also, there's a shop on the corner of these lights and cars will queue up side by side to exit... meaning no one can get into the carpark - there's 6 cars side by side at times.

I JUST WANT TO GO HOME!!!!

People who go to work when they are ill and spread the illness round the workplace. Why would anyone do that?

Probaly because when it comes to redundancy they normally look at sickness and attendance.

Like Cav says people feel obliged, but I totally agree it would be better if they stayed away.

The first nice day of the year and i was all set to go for that first ride and have a nice afternoon.

Got all the gear on and went to wheel the bike out and the garage door operator is playing up and not closing or shutting fully or reliably.

Spent 2 hours trying to fix it with no success and suspect the control circuit board is fooked. I've mechanically secured the garage door but after all the fooking about whilst still in my leathers i decided to give up on riding the bike and just drink beer to feel better (facepalm)

Ba$hard technology (swear)

Cheers Cav. It will get sorted as under warranty, but big inconvenience when it's the only good day forecast for a ride and you have it off.

Yeah it's frustrating - you should see what you can get out of them for the inconvenience

Haha its not there fault and the engineer was really nice and helpful on the phone so I m happy they just come and fix it.

To be honest it was me fiddling and trying to fix it or at least identify the fault which consumed so much time. I should have walked away but I m like a dog with a bone some times.

There's a gang going around the area for the past 2 or 3 months. They are stealing from vans. We've had 3 vans broken into in the last 3 month's...1 a month. They are operating in our local area

I saw our latest victim this morning when I took my dog out. His work van had a nice big hole in the rear window. He said to me the old bill don't give a crap and he's now missing out on a days work, insurance disbelieving him and the headache of arranging a new window to get fitted. The last van I saw that got broken into had his rear door prised open from the top - effectively bending the door in half. We need the army back, they wouldn't allow this to happen on their watch. Patrols around this area was common place, now we have more houses, more people more problems

Thieves make me sick. I fully understand why the Americans shoot first and ask questions later. We are lulled into a behaviour of acceptance, we shouldn't have to accept this

I think getting the army in to shoot people on the streets is a very extreme way to deal with things.

Sounds like your gang haven't caught up with the latest trend of cutting through the roof.

A friend in Chepstow had all his tools taken from the van and he knew nothing about it until he got to his customer, unlocked the van and noticed a nice new sky light.

They anger me too.. self-entitlement in full flow

You see I really don't think so. It would teach these f&*kers a lesson. Wanna steal, get your knees shot off

Are you sure you've not recently joined ISIS? They do this sort of thing.
