Surely you know.. you can hear, see the revs, feel how it reacts to throttle inputs. If you can't hear it turn your music down!

Are you sure they've not got their phone out and that's where they've left it, behind the gear stick?

Haha!! No lol. One decided to pull in front of me but from the opposite of the road heading against me which I had to slam on my breaks. I watched her crunch it into reverse and then first then reverse then first. It was seriously an Austin Powers moment because cars were still driving in the other side of the road. The other was yesterday in the garden centre car park trying to pull into a space, I was stood there waiting for her to park, constantly checking the gears...how hard is it seriously you can feel it!

In fairness, if it's the first time I'm using a car I will almost always look at the gearstick for reverse for obvious reasons. If it's my car I don't need to, however.

On the train to Carlisle.

Crappy little 3 carriage thing not a modern high speed train.

£56 for a standard ticket. I paid £211 for first class and all you get is biscuits and tea or coffee.

Asked for a beer and she said you have to pay.
£7 for a warm can of Carlspissingberg (swear)

Asked what the extra £150 is for and she said a better seat. Taking the piss the robbing bastards.

East coast main line or Virgin is complimentary alcoholic beverages.

@Blade.

Next time, just pay the £56 and sit in First Class anyway....when the conductor checks your ticket he should give you the option of going back to sit in Second, or paying some nominal charge to stay in First. £5 or something like that.

@Cavetroll - bikers gloves or ski gloves are your friends. Unless you've got Macklots, those buggers like to repeat bite because it's funny.

Ive used bike gloves plenty of times in the past but i worry about his teeth on them, ive started tap training him which is going pretty well but i still use a thick leather glove with him and if he does get it i can just slip out of it and leave it with him until he has calmed down,

Fair enough. I've never had a snake lose a tooth. I've lost loads of blood though. Python bites are a bugger for bleeding.

You have something bigger than you, angrier than you, meaner than you, that bites you and your worried about his teeth (wasntme)

My only concern would be wiping his face of the shovel he is going to be eating as a starter, main course and pudding (giggle)

Joking aside put the gloves aside and show home a blow torch in his smiley boat race (rock) that will calm the bugger down ;)

ahhh I couldn't do that mate, not his fault, hes not aggressive, just nervous and doesn't want me in his home....OR thinks I'm a rat and dinner.....He is learning though with the tap training the difference between feeding time and when hes just being cleaned up. Smarter than you think.

And yes Kwacky, lots of bleeding, I got tagged a while back and remember about 4 days later pulling one of his teeth out of my hand.

Vent of the Day:

People who join the motorway at 40mph. If your car has more than 100bhp you can easily match lorry speed before joining the motorway. A$$ho!es.
