Nope, just leave it there :D

I reckon we could get enough in to pay for the trip and to make a sizeable contribution towards the cost of a new bike each.

Park it up, ready to add the bottles of French wine etc to it's cargo of bikes for the return journey.?
Or, alternatively, to travel along the same route as a breakdown/support/portable weatherproof shelter (at a more leisurely rate ) carrying 1x bike and all the crap that you normally need to haul with you.?

You can always borrow one of my Kriega packs, Kwacky. It's waterproof and straps to the pillion seat very easily.

Thanks Duke. I've got the US10 and the straps for it. I've got a large Overboard waterproof bum bag as well.

I've got a R35 as well but it's not waterproof, which is a pain for such an expensive piece of kit.

Really, mine is 7 years old and hasn't leaked yet.

Monty, I don't think mine was ever designed to be waterproof. It doesn't look like it. I've certainly come home enough times with a bag full of water.

I know about the liners but that doesn't stop the water getting in and the front pouch getting soaked. The Overboard stuff is roll top and very good.

I suppose I could get one of those over bag waterproof covers.

I'll have a think

Fluorescent with a Polite sticker?

Just noticed mine is an R25, so possibly doesn't leak because it's smaller

The Polite thing won't work in France. It needs to be in French. I think I'll go with :-

Don't think you'll need that, I think the UK number plate already serves that purpose. :^

Email from the ferry company to remind me they're taking the balance of the booking.

My passport has gone off for renewal.

I need to have a dig about in the utility room but I'm fairly certain I've got a magnetic tank bag I can use. Then I need to decide which rucksack I want to bring with me to go with the Kriega tailpack.

Any recommendations for what I need to take with me? I've seen kits you can buy on eBay for travelling in France but I'm not sure how good they are.
