an underlying foreseen future reason may be down to emissions/taxes on cc's (maybe!)

Does the supercharger itself not make much noise? The Euro 4 tests also include mechanical noise tests so adding components to an engine would, you think, have made it noisier. Maybe there is a big noise loss somewhere else as a result.

I don't think a bit of chirping will test Euro4 Regs.

Bikes are advancing so much and all I want is them.to build a standard 400 again. Proper screamers, screw the supercharger

It may make noise, but if that noise is less DB than the engine/tyres on road/exhaust then it shouldn't matter
