Took a bit of practice to pull off and keep the front down.Blade wrote:I bet that like wheelies
I booked the big BMW in for its 18k service today... Ker-ching is the sound of the day...
Did manage to agree to a couple of warranty items though. New wing mirrors as the glass has come loose in the current ones. Also got them to agree to front wheel bearings, which surprised me.

I was up around the Lake District again and made sure to use all of the tyre... I think I'm starting to get used to this bike.

That's some going. Those bikes don't mind being thrown about.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Not my bike, but my nephew in the US has just bought his first bike.
He’d never been on a bike before he visited me last year and I took him out on the Ducati. He’s been obsessed ever since and has been working night shifts at an Amazon warehouse as well as studying to save up. He passed his bike licence on Wednesday and bought his bike yesterday.
He was locked in on a CBR600RR so took some chatting and convincing that as a 6ft plus learner rider that wasn’t the most ideal starter bike. I was trying to get him to get a KTM 390 or similar but we met a compromise and settled on a MT07.
He picked up a 2017 mode with 6.5K miles on it, looks pretty tidy and he’s rather stoked. Nice to be responsible for another rider in the world
