That sounds great, I bet it's astounding on the road.

To my bike I did replace the front fairing, fitted the LED front indicator bulbs (fairing off job) and replaced the front brakes, as soon as the bike was apart it started raining so I had no choice but to carry on...

When I get my own place it will have a nice big garage so that I can tinker under cover.

Get a popup gazebo mate, 2.5 meter minimum. Perfect for when it rains.

As I don't have a garage is what I do, can even wash the bike in there.

Took the versys out for a quick spin. It's not been ridden for a few weeks so I wanted to make sure the battery was alright and that nothing on the bike had seized.

It started first time. Nice little ride locally in a mix of roads.

Went out with a mate to a popular bike meet. Not normally my thing tbh, but went for a social as not been meeting up much with mates in lockdown.

Bike meet was packed. Ended up meeting a mate from school. Must be 30 years. He was on this concours condition RG500 8)

Today I rode over to my mate's house to fit the pannier rails to her bike and bedded in my new brakes, there's a bit of a vibration at 10mph but that's because numb nuts here had lined the 2 disc's up so the pads were hitting the grooves all together.

I have just moved the left disc around 1 hole and re torqued it, so after this coffee I will give it another run.

The jobs on my friends Z900 kept growing, fit the pannier rails, sure, quick job... Oh and fit these LED indicators, oh they need resistors, and this power lead for heated gloves, and re-align my headlight...

Good fun though, I do like tinkering.

Didn't you get new pads at the same time?

Yeah I fitted a new set of EBC HH pads, after rotating one disc the vibration is much reduced. At higher speeds they are way better than warped OEM discs, I did one emergency stop because of some impatient driver and the stopping power is really good. 8)

Once they are fully bedded in they will be a great set of stoppers.

Took the Dorsoduro out for for its longest spin so far, clocked about 90 miles before I had to get back. It certainly seems more nimble now the back box has been removed, the new cans make a lovely pop on the overrun :D. Lovely comfortable bike on a long run, although I really bought it to do some commuting on. Also tried out the new SP Connect phone mount which works spot on, also have a charging lead as well, the gloves which are touch screen friendly work great.
I also tried out the new jacket that has been hanging up until I got the bike back, an Icon Tarmac jacket, lovely and light but totally waterproof, has a large vent under the armpits and on the top of the arms which have waterproof zips. After the first ride it’s my favourite jacket already, so comfortable to wear and fits really well.
So all in all a very good day, got my bike back and all the things I have bought work brilliantly so very happy.

How friendly is this female friend? Sounds like an imbalance of services being rendered (lol)

Okay cheers. Just looking if there's a cheap protection for the Satin Black MTB I'm going to get and knew you said you find cleaning yours a doddle. What products do you clean with?

Taxed it, it seems i have been using it for three weeks with no tax. I didn't get a reminder.

£93 is a stupid amount to pay for a motorcycle when some **** in a Range Rover is only paying £140.

I hose it down. Wash it by hand with Chemical Guys matt satin shampoo, hose it down then towel dry it.

Did you remember or do they follow up with a threatening demand after a few weeks?
