Finally took the extra linings out of my commuting gear. I can't believe how cold it still is in the mornings.

I took the neck protector off my jacket about a month ago,.

That lasted for two days. It's back on again.

I think I'm more green than the 10 (envy)

Have a good time on track mate, and keep it shiney side up (y)

Booked the Multi in for its next annual service on Wednesday 27th May.

Good news is that they don't need belt changes every two years anymore.

Mine is tomorrow. Or at least I drop it off tomorrow as they need to do the big service with the engine cold. So get to ride a loaner back. No idea which bike I'll get.

I managed a little time on this today, enough to say that it is a very smooth capable bike, these air/water cooled engines are pretty smooth on the go, I found it a little less so between the 1st and 2nd, on and off the gas in traffic, but my god does it pull like a train and so smooth I was amazed. You know I am new to these engines myself, but it was awsome. I had to laugh it was like my old car it would flash a little arrow up on the dash telling me I would be better in the next gear.. ha ha

The handling was nuts I kept thinking I was going to scrape the heads, i just had to look where I wanted to go and the bike went. Wind protection was good all the way up to national + a bit, beyond these speeds I would assume it is a little more turbulent, I would assume the mirrors get a little vibey too. :)
But I have to say this bike looks nice and is an amazing naked bike for sure. Kitted out with all the normal BMW electronic bling, Dynamic ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) providing semi-active suspension, various riding modes, rain, dynamic etc... heated grips, making this a very well balanced machine. Will be interesting to see how the RS does when launched, basically a faired version.

I do like the LED running lights you can turn on or off as well, very bright and great for day time riding. I did not mention the brakes as they are brembo all round so you know they stop you (nod)
A bike you can mess about on, but you could do some serious miles in comfort for sure.

Nice bike to ride, well priced, but me personally I still love my S 1000 R on the road it will take something special to get that off me 8)

That is really nice, I love the contrast of the red frame and white paint..

It is low, feet flat on the floor at the lights, not had that feeling on a bike for a while. Cost for that model which is the sport, oh I forgot to mention the shift assist is on that as well, up and down the box and no clutch is bloody amazing.

Cost for the R sport is £11,495.00 on the road, for that I would also give you two year warranty, two years roadside assistance and Euro cover, I will even data tag your bike, fill it up with fuel and bang on a years road fund licence.

Call me with a £500 deposit I will put one one order for you ;)

Oh yeah and it's height is 790mm seat height, can even get a lower seat for it ha ha...
In comparison to say the S 1000RR which is 815mm.

The R1200RS looks far more interesting, Frankie (though i think its mechanically very similar) and more than a little reminiscent of the HP2, one of my fave bikes of all time.
