Came home sick last night. Something gave me an upset belly. I hate saying im ill but i suppose first time in a few years isnt too bad (even though last time i was off was due to a bad back and not actually sick at all) feeling a lot better now my belly just feels tender!

Been for a blast on the bike but turned it round and came home early.

Not feeling it and concentration levels poor so best to call it a day.

I don't thing 3 days on the lash and little sleep have helped

Sun is shining. Me and the wife are off. The kids are in school.

Only one thing for it. Pub lunch in the beer garden

Beer garden to myself, and just waiting for my dinner.

I'm off to the pub for lunch but I'm riding so no beer for me.

Been to see the doctor. Been suffering with tiredness and headaches for a few weeks now.

Turns out my blood pressure is through the roof... Reading in the surgery was 190/108 and the highest reading I've ever had.

Got to book a blood test and ECG trace and monitor my bp over a couple of weeks to see how it averages out.

Something isnt right given you are fit as a fiddle these days - hope it's simple and easy to sort

Great day today. Bit of pottering this morning, then my brother messaged. Went round to his for a impromptu BBQ with family and his NCT group.

Probably sounds like hell to some, but a chance for our kids to play while we have a drink or two and a chat with other adults is great.

Just back from dropping our youngest off after only 3 days here as she's a busy girl. Always sad, but we had a great few days together catching up, sunshine, swimming and eating.

Precious moments indeed and great to see her, but hard to say goodbye each time.

Family commitments most of the day, about to give my brother a lift home and the spare helmet doesn't fit him, car it is then.

Out for a run in the Yorkshire dales to meet a mate for a catch up.

Settle to Hawes what a run. Monty would love it been airborne a couple of times

And I'm in the car haha

Think I might go shopping for some new cycling gear.

Lycra section for the 50+ crowd, here I come!!

That's a VERY nice car.

Been back to the doctors today.

Had a blood test and ECG. The ECG came back normal, guess that's a good thing.

Carrera 2? Nice.. I have a soft spot for a 911 and yours looks clean unlike a lot of them. Good work, Blade !

My boss is back off holiday and she's already flapping because there's nothing to flap about. She can't believe there isn't something urgent waiting for her to deal with.
