Have a good trip to Wembley Mick, we went last week for the England game and was a great day out and atmosphere will be something else.

Having run ins with Harley riders.

Had to drop my car off for a service and a friend dropped me back at home. As I was getting out of the car on the side of the street a Harley came ripping flat out up our very steep hill and close to the car. We live on street that feeds onto a dead end street and extremely quiet. I was still taking to my friend at the car when the Harley came back down. A bit more sedate. So I waved him over and just asked politely if he’d take it a bit easier on our street. Went off his rocker at me, swearing and carrying on like a pork chop so I gave up and noted his number as he drove away.

20 mins later I hear a loud Harley so stick my head out the door. It’s not the guy I talked to, it’s a different guy heading back down as well, and I then realised it was him that hooned up the road earlier not the guy I tried to talk to.... ooopps. (blush)

Got up late as didn't sleep much with this killer man flu, so took this missus for some breakfast at a local Cafe we like, where she gave me some good advice over my pancakes (giggle)

The sun is shining so go and ride your bike. It will either kill you or cure you. Glad to say it did more of the latter (rock)

Relaxing today, work's canteen has stopped opening on Saturdays so I wondered over the road and tried the new Taco Belle... I REGRET! that decision, it wasn't nice and the reaction may have helped me to shed some weight.

I did get the car washed/polished/waxed and am about recovered now just in time to go out for a mother's day meal.

Wife and daughter left at 9 this morning for dance comps and won't be home until gone 9 tonight.

I've been to the gym, gone to my dad's then my mum's, fed the spiders, done some ironing, a bit polishing on the Honda belly pan and switched the bikes around so the Versys is ready for duty.

Spending some time every day visiting mother in law in hospital.

They are so short staffed, especially at weekends, that some are saying they can no longer guarantee patient safety.

My wife has to insist they changed her bed today at 1pm after MIL had been sick in it at breakfast time.

What a sorry state this Country is in.

That's awful and basic hygiene and nursing for gods sake...

Hope she gets better.

I don't have any issue with the staff on duty as there is only so much that they can do.

She is going to have a bone marrow test tomorrow. She is losing blood cells but they don't know why until they have done some further tests.

Was planning on doing the housework and a bit of tinkering on the bikes but a mate I used to work with at the Refinery turned up out of the blue for a visit, so spend the day chin wagging over coffee.
