Fwiw I’ve had the same experience albeit from the other end with my Brother, he’d left his own phone at work and was working in the garden at his house, I’d rung both his numbers repeatedly with no answer, this is a year after he lost his wife to cancer and he was struggling.Jack wrote:scaring people apparently , somehow managed to turn both phones to silent and had an unexpected visit because I wasn't answering .
It necessitated me driving over there “at speed” expecting something..... distressing. Fortunately he was surprised to see me but thought it was hilarious when I told him why I was there, strangely I wasn’t so entertained.
The morale is: Never underestimate how much people care for you, or how much of a hole your demise will make in others lives.
