Nothing like a bit of drama on holiday (#kiwimode-on)
Background, we've got a touring caravan and like to explore the South of the UK for holidays.
We're away at the moment in South Cornwall, the weather is good and everything is going well. Too well...
Sat on the beach yesterday and my phone pings, your MOT expires tomorrow. Helpful! Asked at the caravan park for recommendations, but everywhere is booked solid for 2 weeks. Finally found a kwil-fit 30 odd miles away with one single slot in two weeks. Booked it and breathed a sigh of relief.
This morning however the phone starts ringing. Their brake testing machine has failed and they have to cancel the mot. FFS! Back to the phone.
6 garages called before 9:30 today before one says, even though we're fully booked we could open early to fit you in.. yay... But nothing like a 6am start when your on holiday.

Going to my friends farm. It'll be our last visit as they've sold it. They didn't want to but a family member has part ownership and she wants the money.

Great day on the beach with the kids.
Some good surf in the morning so spent a good hour on the body boards with the girl, then out on the rocks with the boy as the tide went out looking for crabs.
So lucky this week with another blast of good weather.

Nothing, thankfully.....I was getting ready to intake a double amputee into the sober living house, but I guess he found somewhere better suited to his needs.
That's a relief, to say the least....I was not looking forward to it.... we're just not set up for someone like that. (no legs)

Yesterday I took the day off to visit Hampton Court for the Concours of Elegance, rare and classic cars from around the world. Some are also sold off, could not find anything under a 100K lol.....

In the city with Byron and a mate of his to see a comedy show “superwog” for his birthday.
Took them to a grungy rock bar that does amazing burgers for dinner, their eyes were light headlights the whole time

First Sunday of the month means Triumph Bull Dog ride out. Headed down to Devizes. Sunshine and showers all day. Still had a laugh. Pleased I managed to get the bike out of the garage. Found a lump of wood long and strong enough to hold the door open to get it out.
