Today I did do, a nice lay in till 8 then relaxed start to the day, then I decided to crack on with my dads car again.


That lot took ages to change, ended up dropping the front subframe to get the lower arm bolts out.

Then I washed it for him, and washed my own car, then after some little jobs on the bike like adjusting the gear lever height and re-routing a breather hose I washed and polished it including a really good clean and lube of the chain.

All while feeling like I had borrowed the arms of an Orangutan after yesterdays gym session...

Nowt at all today. Weather forecast is for 99F today, and due to get well into triple digits for the REST OF MY FCUKING LIFE!!!!!

Or at least a fortnight or so. Phuck!

Took my kids on a speedboat which I went on the exact same one 40 years ago when I was on holiday as a little boy.

Great trip down memory lane and had just as many laughs and screams today as I did 40 years ago.

Hope my kids remember and Cherish the memory as long as I have.

Went to the Dentist this morning, and collecting mine and MiniGees new suits around lunchtime, I needed a new one and Mini Gee had never had one, to say he was chuffed to bits would be an understatement.

We've got three family events in the next 8 weeks, all of which require us to be suited and booted, hence the new threads.

Picked up the "tin can" and drove down to just outside of poole. Now sat in the awning in our very comfy chairs with a glass or two of prosecco.

My brother is coming down tomorrow with his wife and kids in their van so should be a laugh.

Back filling in on my old position out here, the guy that took my spot got flown off yesterday with appendicitis and is about to go under the knife. Feels like slipping back into comfortable shoes.

Spent the afternoon blackberry picking, we must have got around 3 kilos or so in total, but we stopped off at the MiL's on the way back to give her a kilo for her freezer and scored a cuppa and an invite to lunch next Sunday.

Am currently relaxing with a well earned pint of Cider in the afternoon sunshine (and licking my wounds from the brambles and blackthorns )

Had a good day. Got up early, did some housework, had breakfast, watche Gotham whilst ironing, did some shopping, went to the gym, got the bike out, saw Perkles, fed and watered the animals, about to walk the dog then I'll hit the pub and catch up with Beermonster.

My brother made it down to the campsite yesterday, so both families had a great time on the site before going to the beach.

Had a BBQ and then a chilled evening sat in the awning with a few drinks.

Now sat in the van with a slightly bad head listening to rain on the awning. That's going to make packing up fun!

Just work, yesterday's lunch break was so long i managed a 50 mile round trip to Selby to get a lawnmower for my parents and deliver it. And got a good feed while i was there.
