Just got the longhorn tbones out the fridge to get up to room temp before slapping them on the griddle

Well the kids are away and I did enjoy the longhorn and now going up the local for a few liveners

Roast prime rib, with all the lovely extras including cauliflower in cheese sauce and Yorkshires six inches high. Oh and apple crumble and ice cream for dessert, all whilst we watched it snowing outside.
I’m a happy, contented Slapper right now, I might even go for a small snifter of Armagnac after I’ve restocked the log basket for the fire.......
