Chicken pot pie

I didn't have the take away the wife was home earlier than she thought so I had a cheese and ham omelette, then washed it down with a bottle of Merlot.

Mac and cheese made with truffle oil. Possibly the best mac and cheese I've ever had.

Last night we had a very nice and healthy chicken salad,





Then we ate our niece and nephews Easter eggs lol
Oh well back to the shops.

Warm Hot Cross buns.

Lamb kebab with spiced rice, flatbread, mixed green salad, garlic, mayonnaise, herbs and a cold beer.

Youngs fish with chips and mushy peas for tea tonight.

I'm experimenting tonight, by cooking Hunters Chicken. It's no epic feat of culinary skills by any means,but it is a change from just bunging some chips in the oven.











And to accompany, I shall be bunging some chips in the oven!

Hotel chocolat dark chilli truffle - Awesome

Chips, French stick, southern fried chick fillets and a sausage...I think my eyes were bigger than my belly when buying this stuff...feeling rather sick now!!

Birthday cake

It's my little girl's 11th birthday today.

Happy Birthday to your little girl Kwacky - same age as my youngest!

Was eating a beef stir fry earlier btw.

Happy birthday to her. My GF little sister is 12 tomorrow think the birthday cake is on Saturday for her though!

Followed by T-Bone Steak. Look at my mate sat in the back of the photo for scale. Its a double t-bone and nearly the same size as his upper body I think it weighed 3 kilo or that's what we got charged for.

Being a fussy eater I don't often get jealous reading these posts.

Unless someone posts about meat.

Just hoovered the wife's car now it's time to start cooking the steak, I think I'll have a beer first then a red wine with my steak and then a couple of jacks watching a movie.
