I went out for some posh nosh. In brief I had scallops, steak and raspberry sorbet.

But it was so much more than that. The food was stunning. The steak was so very soft.

Certainly is, but Frankie was the Master of the "Double Entendre", hence the comment.

Whey!!......Brattys gets the award for "trip down memory lane"!!....although Memory Lane is about a mile from here and I bet he's never driven on it.

The butcher's in the North ...and I'm talkin' the real North here.... not the piddly-ass "Oh, we've passed The Watford Gap!!" north....they used to do a wonderful thing called a "dip"....just a bread roll stuffed with er, stuffing & gravy....sooo fecking good, and cheaper than chips.....like 15p each.

What Am I Eating??

Well, it won't be toad-in-the-hole tonight, that's for sure....and just as I was about to declare myself the Yorkshire Pudding King....what a fcuking disaster!! I just can't get that dish right....frankly, it looked laughable.....bonus points to me for inviting friends over to enjoy an "English delicacy".... :D
