Toasted sandwiches in the qantas lounge. It's 11 pm and I haven't eaten since 6 am breakfast offshore.

Digestives sound good right now!
Today I had liver & onion tacos....very small kinda community Mexican café...thought they were beef. I'm a big fan of liver, but not in that way...the onions were great. I can see I'm going to have to start cooking again...new wife, new family, etc....eating out gets pricey, and TBH I'm just as happy with a bowl of OXO broth or a quesadilla.

Speciality Burger, salad and fries, cooked medium rare (not the fries btw), am feeling a bit f'lup now.
Edit - just Darren's post about tinned salmon sandwiches, one of my favourite sandwiches right there, white bread, real butter and the salmon with some salt and vinegar. When we were kids we always had that on Christmas Eve night for tea with the Yule Log after. Happy memories and I still do the Salmon just like that for mini gee.

Steak sarnie with onions and mushrooms. I was hungry when I got in and needed something quick.
Followed by a load of chocolate left over from Halloween.

Spicy tomato soup, and then Sausages, bubble & squeak, Yorkshire pudding and gravy. I'm in Yorkshire and the pudding could have soled boots. Crap pudding should a treasonable offence here.

Re: What are you eating ??
Sticky Thai chicken lollipops to start, t bone steak with hand cut chips and garlic chilli mushrooms for main followed by sticky toffee pudding with pecans and vanilla ice cream. I'm absolutely stuffed but just got a salted peanut Carmel chocolate bar out of the mini bar when I got back the room. I'm going to burst

Jealous....toad-in-the-hole is one of my favorite dishes....I'd love some Yorkshire pudding right now, with plenty of gravy and some peas and a bit of mash....I'm getting a bit burned out on all this Mexican food...it's too starchy.Deegee wrote:Spicy tomato soup, and then Sausages, bubble & squeak, Yorkshire pudding and gravy.
