Turkey is my worry. It's right in the middle of all of this. Turkey is running its own campaign against Kurds. Russia is flying over its airspace, which Turkey doesn't like. Russia is taking the piss knowing no one will retaliate and they're trying to wind up NATO. I suspect Russia will continue to needle Turkey to see what response they get.

It's a clever plan from a Putin perspective. Frankly I think something will happen. Putin is very dangerous, especially as western nations are frightened of what he is capable of, especially now we don't get on with him (again). He's not getting any younger and I'm sure he wants to write his chapter in Russian history.

What is it with us humans?

Russia has a lot of problems going on internally. It's been suggested that one of the reasons Putin took The Crimea because they couldn't afford to pay the rent to Ukraine.

A bit of muscle flexing overseas looks good for Putin and makes the Russians feel better about themselves.

The 2018 World Cup could be interesting.

Turns out it's a drone.

Which doesn't bode well for the quality of Turkish pilots if they can't work out what they're firing at.

Frankie Boyle seem to be hitting the nail on the head these days
Stop thinking that a global death cult is caused by one thing – it’s a complex situation involving several different countries and ideologies, not a rattling sound in your washing machine. Personally, I think that for all our blaming religion, there will be peace in the Middle East when the oil runs out. But knowing their luck, then somebody will invent a way of making fuel by mixing sand and falafel.

Maybe the west’s approach is right. After all, if you’ve got a massive fight in, say, a pub car park, the best way of solving it is clearly standing well back and randomly lobbing in fireworks. You can’t get rid of an ideology by destroying its leaders; you’d think if there’s anything “Christian” countries should know, it’s that. Europe has rejected the death penalty on moral grounds, and yet we relax this view when it comes to a group who want to be martyred. You can’t bomb ideas. If your kid shits on the carpet, you can’t stop them by bombing the person who invented shit – though it would tidy up ITV’s Saturday night schedule.

I like Frankie Boyle, once you get past a lot of the sensationalist comments he spews out he does make s lot of sense. All be it a but blunt.

But is it effective.? -
AfaIk I've never shot, or even seen for that matter, a real Nerf.
(wait) Maybe it would be easier not to bother with the gun, and simply use nerf gas instead.?
