Why is it?

Post by D6Nutz »

A couple of weeks ago I came down the stairs carrying a large box, I didn't see the well placed kids toy at the bottom and tripped.

While I didn't hit the deck, I've been in quite bad pain ever since from my right knee.

Any hoo, I finally got an appointment to see the doc tomorrow and tonight all pain has virtually gone. FFS! Last night I was wearing a full knee support just to get up and down the stairs.

(gah) (facepalm)

did you still go to the appointment? It's worth it even if you're feeling better.

Yes, still went. The pain hasn't gone completely and I wanted to be sure it wasn't an impact injury that would flare up again when I started running again.

The doctor was of the opinion it's just a sprain of the tendons. There is a small amount of fluid on the knee as well.

Recommendation of rest and ibuprofen, and a glare when i mentioned resuming the training for the 10k coming soon.
